Buy OnePlus 2 on Black Friday with No Need for Invite

OnePlus X has been put on sale in North America since Nov. 19, needing invite of course. It is fairly painful to wait for an invite, which may take a long time. Why not consider the more powerful OnePlus 2? OP announced that OP2 will be available without invite for the Black Friday(between November 27th and November 30th. This should be a good news for OP fans.

With high quality and low price, OnePlus has been enjoying great popularity among users in recent years. OP 2 features a sharp 5.5-inch, 1,080-pixel-resolution display and a powerful 1.8GHz Snapdragon 810 processor. It also has a 3,300mAh battery and a 13-megapixel camera. Users can also purchase different back plates, which come in a variety of different materials including bamboo, wood and Kevlar.

The OnePlus 2 now costs $330 and £239 (roughly AU$450) for the 16GB version, and $389 and £289 (or about AU$535) for the 64GB model.

OP devices are called flagship killer. OnePlus 2 really deserves this name in consideration of its cost performance. If you want to try it and avoid the worry of inhuman invite system, buy on Black Friday during November 27th and November 30th.

Xiaomi has its own transfer tool-Mi Transfer

It has become a trend for mobile phone manufacturers to develop data transfer function for their own brand phones. Some big brands, like Samsung, HTC, LG, have already built in such function on their latest phones or developed one or more mobile or desktop tools to finish the transfer from other brand phone to their own phone or between their own phones. Recently, Xiaomi, a smart phone brand from China, released its latest rom -- MIUI 7, which has the function of transferring data between Mi devices. Xiaomi fans call it Mi Transfer.

What exactly Mi Transfer Can Do?

Mi Transfer can help users transfer System(system settings and home screen layout), Apps(App data), Accounts & Contacts(Google account, Mi account, and Contacts data) from an old Mi device to a new one.

On the old device, go to Setting > Additional settings > Transfer > Select “I’m a sender” > select the items that you want to transfer to the new device > Select one device to transfer Data

On the new device, go to Setting > Additional settings > Transfer > I’m a recipient > Select the device that you have selected in the old device.

The two devices will search for devices and pair together, then the data will be transferred. It will take a while to copy all data to the new device.

Conclusion
In order to use Mi Transfer, both Mi devices should run on supportable MIUI rom. While Xiaomi has always played great attention on MIUI, it is pretty convenient to upgraded to the latest OS for most major Mi devices. So Mi Transfer should work fine for Mi devices. What’s more, it is understandable that almost all official transfer tools of brands phones fix the destination phone as their own latest phones, since they all want to maximize the profit. However, a professional and apply-to-all transfer tool is more much practical. People in need could try such a tool, Gihosoft Mobile Transfer. It can meet almost all your expectation for transfer tool. Cheer up!

What You Do NOT Know about Nov. 11

An American may say it’s Veterans Day, but in China, people would say it’s a day for shopping. Different from Veterans Day, which is an old (its predecessor Armistice Day started on Nov.11, 1919) and solemn memorial day of a young country, the “Double 11 Day” is an emerging spontaneous activity in a country with long history. The concept of “Double 11 Day” was originally put forward as a trend of self-mockery among the single young Chinese. They think that the Arabic numeral 1 is a symbol of single, and 11 is of course overlaid single, while 11.11 absolutely contains the biggest malice. So the “Double 11 Day” in 2011, 2011.11.11, was the climax. Interesting, people celebrate this day with great passion instead of complaint. This is a folk festival among the youth, without official recognition, so people have no vacation. But they have their ways to celebrate it.

However, today, when it comes to Nov.11, not so many Chinese can remind themselves this day is for the single, for most people are busy shopping online. Yes, another lasting climax of Nov.11 was promoted by E-business. Online shopping websites make sales promotion on this day or for several days. Some products may be sold at 50% off. In recent years, many people are expecting shopping spree on Nov.11. Some problems, however, have emerged, such as much longer time for express delivery, bad quality goods, false price, etc. It is hard to say how long will this climax last now.

How to Recover/Redownload WhatsApp Messages/Pictures/Videos from Android...

"I deleted the WhatsApp image folder on my Samsung by mistake. Now I'm unable to redownload these images. Is there any way to recover?"

It is possible to recover WhatsApp chat history.
Normally, Android WhatsApp messages, photos and videos can be restored in 3 ways.

  1. Uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp app. WhatsApp makes daily backup to local storage. This requires complete WhatsApp folder on your phone.
  2. Restore from Google Drive. You should have set automatic backup on WhatsApp app.
  3. Use recovery tool. This should be applied when you have no backup for the lost images or messages.

Here is a detailed tutorial about how to recover/redownload WhatsApp messages, pictures and videos from Android. http://www.gihosoft.com/android-recovery/how-to-recover-whatsapp-chat-history-from-android.html

HTC One A9 hands-on video

Nexus 5X Available at $379

Nexus5X starts shipping in the US, CA, UK, IRE, KR & JP. Get a preview now whether you’ve ordered one or you are waiting and see.

Compared with Nexus 5, 5X lifts its price to $379(16 GB) at US.

Google Nexus 5X Pricing
                                 16 GB            32 GB
     US                         $379              $429
     UK                         £339             £379
  Australia                 AU$659          AU$759

Higher price usually comes along with more advanced configuration.

Specifications
Screen             5.2 inches, Gorilla Glass 3               Resolution   1,920 × 1,080 pixels
Size                5.78 by 2.86 by 0.31 inches              Weight         4.8 ounces (136 grams)
Rear camera     12.3 MP                                           RAM           2 GB
OS                 Android 6.0 Marshmallow                  Battery         2,700 mAh
Processor       1.8 GHz six-core Snapdragon 808      Storage        16 or 32 GB

Features
The Gorilla Glass 3 5.2 inches screen is a little bigger than Nexus 5’s screen, but Nexus 5X is still a smaller phone than many big size phones you can see nowadays. In a relatively small size, Nexus 5X is easy to hold and use with one hand, which may make it less possible to drop down.

Another design also contributes to protecting the screen. The sides of the Nexus 5X rise slightly higher than the screen, forming a tiny lip of ½ a mm or so. It takes a lot of pressure off the screen and your phone won’t hit the ground with glass-first when you drop it accidentally.

Complains
The shell of Nexus 5X is plastic, which makes it like a toy. With plastic material, Nexus 5X is light and safer when you drop it accidentally. However, it looks cheap comparing with aluminum phones. Another thing has to be pointed out is the battery life. 2,700 mAh battery has no advantage today.

Why Are Your Mobile Phone Data Possible to Be Recovered?

When we perform deletion operation at files, like photos, messages or contacts, on cellphones, our devices did not really delete them. In stead, the deletion command only removed the pointers to the files from the allocation table. In other words, the files get delisted, but not destroyed. The OS marks the memory space that the lost files ever occupied blank and available for use. The “deleted files” are still on our phones until new data overwrite them.

If you just deleted text messages due to misoperation, you’d better shut down your cellphone in case new receiving messages occupy the space of the deleted files. Likewise, you shouldn't use your mobile phone for video recording, movies or games which will produce considerable new data. However, on the other hand, we can use data overwriting to erase private data. Once you delete your private data on your device, you can erase them permanently by overwriting them with big enough new data, like plenty of movies.

It is recommended to seek help from technicians or professional software as soon as possible after data loss. Gihosoft Android Recovery is a powerful recovery tool for Android devices. With it, you can recover contacts, messages, call logs, photos, music, videos, documents, even WhatsApp messages and attachments, from internal memory or SD card at minimum damage.

How to restore Huawei Honor data from backup

Normally, Huawei Honor users should be asked to backup their data when they perform factory reset or system upgrade. However, when they want to restore the backed up data, it doesn't work. What's wrong? They might not go to the right place.

The backed up ZIP file is usually saved on SD card, but many users just can't restore it to their phone. Actually, it is very easy. Find a system app named "Backup" on your phone, which is usually on "Tools" folder at your phone desktop or somewhere else in your phone. This program will automatically scan backup files from your phone storage. You can choose the backup you want(if there are several backups) and start restore.

If users activate Huawei account and use Dbank, they can back up phone data to Dbank, an official cloud tool of Huawei. As long as they remember the account and password, they can access to the data and restore them to the phone.

My First Blog

I've just had my own blog. It's a cool experience honestly. I would like to make friends on the internet. I am easygoing, faithful to friends and good at listening, also have lots of shortcomings of course.

My name is Jose, a Chinese living in the mainland. At university, I studied English and a little knowledge about French. I like the book Les Enfants du Capitaine Grant. I read it at high school but it was a Chinese version. Football is my favorite sport. League matches in Europe is obviously most popular, but I love Chinese football matches likewise. I am learning harmonica now, far from entry level. It's a small hobby.

Now I am working for a data transfer& recovery software company in China. This is our website http://www.gihosoft.com/.
